Negotiations on Thursday – Button Up and Red for Ed!

Our negotiation team goes back to the bargaining table on Thursday. We’ll be focusing on our paraprofessionals, and are hoping to see movement on a weekly prep period, compensation for translation, and a competitive pay scale. You can show your support for these demands by wearing your “Schools Chelsea Students Deserve” buttons and a red t-shirt! We’ve ordered shirts for everyone but due to supply chain issues they may not arrive by tomorrow, so please wear your own!

EBoard Elections and Website Update

We’ve elected many new members to our Executive Board, including our new VP Joanna Plotz, from the Berkowitz! Please take a look at the “CTU OFFICERS” tab to check and see updated members. We still need an additional rep for Berkowitz, Hooks, the ELC and the CVLA. The website will soon be a place to find information on a regular basis as we’ve also appointed a new Webmaster/Social Media Chair, Yamilis Cruz from Chelsea High School.
