2021 – 2024 CPS/CTU Contracts
Our new contracts were ratified by the membership and the school committee in December and January. The language was reviewed by our AFT MA Field Representative, Jenn Doe, and the district’s lawyer before signature and now posting. Contracts are reviewed every three years. If there is something in the contract you want to change, add, or remove, please reach out to your building rep! We’ll next negotiate new contracts beginning in the 2023-2024 school year.
An MOA summarizes the changes to the contract; it is not the complete contract. A contract (or CBA, collective bargaining agreement) contains all of the working conditions for that unit. You can take a look at the previous contracts below.

Our agreement with the city runs 2019 through 2025. PEC is the Public Employee’s Committee; we negotiate our health insurance plan with several unions across Chelsea.
